FC Anyang goalkeeper Kim Jung-hoon has been named the winner of the September K League "Doctor-Made LingTea Save of the Month" for the 2026 season, the K League announced today.
The "Save of the Month" is awarded to the player who performs the most impressive save each month.
The winner is determined through fan voting between two candidates.
The September award considered matches from Rounds 27 to 30 of K League 1.
Kim Jung-hoon and Gwangju FC's Kim Dong-hwa were nominated as candidates.
Kim Jung-hoon blocked a powerful penalty kick by Yago during stoppage time in the second half of the Round 30 match against Ulsan HD.
Kim Dong-hwa punched away a header toward the corner of the goal by Dodo in the 32nd minute of the second half during the Round 30 match against Jeonbuk Hyundai.
As a result of the weighted fan vote, Kim Jung-hoon received 57.6 points (2,410 votes), defeating Kim Dong-hwa, who received 42.4 points (1,707 votes).
Kim Jung-hoon will receive a cash prize of 1 million won and a trophy.
The league plans to produce a replica trophy bearing Kim Jung-hoon's autograph and hold a charity auction.
