Group ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1) has entered the US Billboard charts in their debut year.
According to the Billboard charts (dated October 17) released on October 13 (local time), ALPHA DRIVE ONE's second mini-album "UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST," released in the United States on October 2, ranked No. 5 on "World Albums," No. 9 on "Emerging Artists," and No. 20 on "Top Album Sales." It entered the top five of "World Albums" with their first album officially released in the United States.
The agency explained that this is the highest ranking among K-pop rookies who debuted in 2026 on this week's "World Albums" chart, making them the only rookie act among them to reach the top five.
ALPHA DRIVE ONE previously recorded 1.13 million copies in first-week sales with their second mini-album released in August, earning their second consecutive million-seller title, and their cumulative album sales since debut have surpassed 2 million copies. Prior to their official Japanese debut, they also received a "Gold" certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).
Their local promotions in the United States also continued. On the global channel "Live from Vevo Studios," the group performed the title track and a B-side track from their second mini-album, and appeared as guests on the American morning show "Good Day LA" and Apple Music Radio. The agency shared that foreign media outlets including Forbes, Sweety High, Vogue Mexico and Latin America, BuzzFeed, and Excélsior featured the group.
The second mini-album "UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST" captures the growing pains of youth wavering amid prejudice and stigma. The title track "BORN DIRE" is a song that offers a modern reinterpretation of the raw energy of British rave and punk genres.
ALPHA DRIVE ONE will release the music video for their follow-up track "Talk to me" on October 27 (KST).
