This is the Seoul Cultural Heritage Center, which recently opened in Ucheon-myeon, Hoengseong.
It exhibits around 2,600 collection pieces owned by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
The initiative aims to move modern cultural assets stored in the depots of museums and art galleries to Hoengseong so that more people can view them.
This is the result of a joint collaboration between the 9th popular term of the Hoengseong County administration and Seoul to open the era of 5 million tourists.
Hoengseong County plans to discover hidden local tourism resources and create Hoengseong-style tourism villages.
It will upgrade and expand tourism convenience facilities and increase stay-oriented content to make Hoengseong a place visitors want to revisit.
Plans also include creating a lake garden equipped with pocket gardens, photo spots, and rest areas along the Hoengseong Lake Trail, while securing various public contest projects to build the city's competitiveness as a destination of water and healing.

The goal is to develop regional tourism courses and products that account for movement paths and length of stay, ensuring that the resulting benefits spread to rural villages and local commercial districts.
[Park Eun-jung / Head of Culture and Tourism Division, Hoengseong County: We will work to complement existing resources, well discover and unearth hidden tourism resources, and ensure these are realized in our tourism policies.]
Last year, visitors to the six cities and counties on the province's east coast reached 110 million.
Hoengseong County expects to achieve its goal of 5 million annual tourists if it can draw just 5% of that volume into Hoengseong.
