Director Bong Joon-ho's highly anticipated first full-length animated film, "Ally," is set to greet domestic audiences in July next year.
"Ally" tells the story of deep-sea creatures living in an underwater canyon who are curious about the human world.
It follows the journey of the main character, a baby piglet squid named Ally—who wants to see the sun directly and dreams of appearing on TV—as she and her friends get caught up in an unexpected adventure.
Having confirmed its domestic release for July next year, it is also scheduled to open in France on the 14th of the same month.
A release in the United States is also planned.
Amid growing interest in how Director Bong's unique imagination will unfold, the production company has announced that the film will deliver fantastic visual beauty, thrilling action, delightful laughter, and warm emotion.
