Professional baseball team SSG Landers is holding another special event game this year, following last year's "Seom-Gon Match," featuring veterans Choi Jeong and Kim Kwang-hyun.
SSG announced on October 11 that it will host the "2026 Landers Special Match - Choi-Kwang Baseball 1429" at Incheon SSG 랜더스필드 on October 17 at 5:30 p.m.
The event has been prepared to express gratitude to fans for their support throughout the season and to allow the players and fans to wrap up the year together.
Following last year's "Seom-Gon Match," which pitted Han Yoo-sum's team against Oh Tae-gon's team, this year's event will feature Choi Jeong and Kim Kwang-hyun serving as managers of their respective teams.
The event name was created by combining the names of the two players and their respective uniform numbers, 14 and 29.
To deliver unique entertainment to fans, pitchers and position players will swap roles, and this year's event is set to feature a larger scale and added entertainment elements.
A total of 36 players will participate, including 20 pitchers such as Kim Min, Cho Byeong-hyun, and Lee로운, and 16 position players including Oh Tae-gon, Choi Ji-hoon, and Park Seong-han.
For the first time in a club event game, SPOTV will broadcast the event live on site, with broadcaster Kim Min-su and commentator Lee Dae-hyung forming the commentary team.
