Professional baseball team Lotte Giants announced that they have completed entry contracts with all 11 players selected in the 2027 KBO rookie draft.
The Lotte club announced on October 11 that it has signed a contract with first-round draft pick and left-handed pitcher Park Geun-seo (Seoul Design High School) for a signing bonus of 300 million won.
Park is a promising prospect equipped with great inning-eating capacity and a fastball nearing a top speed of 150 km/h.
He is evaluated as an excellent left-handed starting resource who can lead the team's future, as he can throw his pitches without shaking even in crisis situations.
During the rookie draft, Park left a strong impression on professional baseball fans even before his debut when his father expressed the joy of his first-round selection with the song "La Bamba."
Second-rounder Bae Jong-yoon signed for 150 million won, and third-rounder Lee Hyun-min signed for 100 million won.
Bae Jong-yoon is a versatile resource featuring a smooth swing path, a wide defensive range, a strong arm, and fast feet, while Lee Hyun-min is a pitcher who aggressively attacks hitters backed by a fastball reaching the upper 140 km/h range.
The 11 Lotte rookies attended "Rookie Day" held the previous day at Sajik Baseball Stadium in Busan, completing their first greetings in front of home fans.
They are scheduled to join the Sangdong Baseball Stadium in Gimhae starting on October 21 to undergo full-scale team training.
