Police are investigating a teenager who was found roaming a playground while carrying a weapon.
The Jeonju Wansan Police Station announced that it has apprehended and is investigating a teenager, referred to as A, on charges including the possession of a weapon in a public place.
A is suspected of wandering around a playground in Wansan-gu, Jeonju, with a weapon in his pocket at around 5:00 PM on October 7.
Police dispatched to the scene following a report from a citizen who spotted the weapon sticking out of the pocket arrested A on the scene.
Police investigations revealed that A did not pull out or wield the weapon at the time.
