Nuri's fifth flight will take place tomorrow afternoon.

The Korea AeroSpace Administration has designated a one-hour launch window starting at 12:23 PM tomorrow.

The exact launch time will be finalized by the Launch Management Committee tomorrow morning.

This morning, Nuri rolled out of the assembly building at the Naro Space Center in Goheung, loaded onto a specialized unmanned transporter, and was slowly moved to Launch Pad 2 over the course of about an hour and a half.

At the pad, final preparations for launch are continuing, including connecting umbilical cables to supply power, fuel, and oxidizer.

With clear weather forecasted for tomorrow in Goheung, where the Naro Space Center is located, and winds remaining light, weather conditions are generally favorable.

The launch vehicle used for this fifth mission is the same as the one used for the fourth.

However, the number of satellites it carries has significantly increased.

A total of 15 satellites, including 5 small-satellite cluster units as the primary payload and 10 cube satellites, are scheduled to be placed into orbit all at once.

The five cluster satellites will circle the Earth in the same orbit at 72-degree intervals to periodically monitor the Korean Peninsula.

The ten cube satellites each have distinct missions.

Satellites verifying laser optical communication technology, growing pharmaceutical crystals in space, and testing the performance of domestically produced space components will head into space together.

The final success of the launch is expected to be confirmed after all 15 satellites reach their target altitude of 570 km and attempt communication with ground stations.
