SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won has decided to sell a portion of his shares in SK to secure 944 billion KRW for the property division settlement to Art Center Nabi Director Roh Soh-yeong.
He plans to sell approximately 1.65 million shares starting next month, which will reduce his stake in the company from 17.8% to 15.5%.
The total voting stake, including that of related parties, will also drop from 33.5% to 30.5%, but his status as the controlling shareholder will be maintained.
