South Korean national wrestling team member Kim Da-hyun (Korea Armed Forces Athletic Corps) narrowly missed out on a medal at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

Competing in the bronze medal match of the men's Greco-Roman 60kg event at the Inae Sports Center in Nagoya, Japan, today (October 1), Kim was defeated 4-6 by Sajjad Ali Mukhassir Albidan of Iraq.

After ending the first period in a 4-4 tie, Kim conceded two points in the second period and the match concluded with that score.

Earlier in the day, Kim suffered a 0-9 defeat to Zholaman Sharshenbekov of Kyrgyzstan in the round of 16, but secured a spot in the repechage as Sharshenbekov advanced to the final.

He advanced to the bronze medal match by defeating Azatzhan Achilov of Turkmenistan 12-1 in the repechage, but fell just short of the final hurdle.
