Disney+'s original series "The Remarried Empress" has officially unveiled character stills of actor Lee Jong-suk starring as Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom.

Based on the web novel of the same name, "The Remarried Empress" is an epic romance fantasy drama that unfolds when Navier (played by Shin Mina), the flawless empress of the Eastern Empire, is served a divorce by Emperor Sovieshu (played by Ju Ji-hoon), who has fallen for runaway slave Rashta (played by Lee Seyoung). Instead of despairing, she accepts the divorce on the condition that her remarriage to Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom (played by Lee Jong-suk) is approved.

In the stills released on October 1, Lee Jong-suk showcases Heinrey's multifaceted charms, shifting effortlessly between sharp, piercing gazes and relaxed smiles. Exuding commanding charisma with a sword in hand, he also captivates everyone in the imperial court with his gentle demeanor upon arriving at the Eastern Empire as part of the New Year's festival delegation.

Lee Jong-suk delicately portrays the shifting warmth of Heinrey depending on who he faces. While he openly reveals his sweet, tender feelings in front of Navier, he projects an icy and sharp aura when confronting Emperor Sovieshu, bringing depth and layers to the character.

Director Jo Soo-won praised the actor, saying, "It was a side of him that has never been seen anywhere before. He captured every subtle glance and expression moment by moment." Screenwriter Yeo Ji-na also raised expectations, stating, "He executed the role of Heinrey—who shows Navier a whole new world—exceptionally well with his own unique presence."

"The Remarried Empress," starring Lee Jong-suk as the mysterious and much-whispered-about Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom, is set to premiere November 4 on Disney+.
