This single is a pre-release track from "Misinterpretation of 10 Years II," the sequel to Verbal Jint's acclaimed full-length album "Misinterpretation of 10 Years I," which featured hits such as "Good Morning," "Pretty Enough," and "The Perfect Day." Verbal Jint has spent 14 years preparing this album, and through "SUPERDRY," he plans to offer a preview of the new album's musical direction ahead of its full release.
"SUPERDRY" playfully expresses the inner thoughts of an emotionally drained individual who views everything from meeting people, anniversaries, and special events, to formal communications, with reluctance.
Luci Gang participated as a featured artist on the track, collaborating with Verbal Jint. Luci Gang built his name through "Show Me the Money 12" and has since carved out his own musical world, releasing his third full-length album "Infinite Orbit" this year. Tracks from this album have gone viral mainly across Asia, drawing attention in the global hip-hop scene.
Combining Verbal Jint's realistic and witty lyrics with Luci Gang's rap, "SUPERDRY" is a track that unpacks the keyword "dryness." As the song that signals the beginning of "Misinterpretation of 10 Years II," it is raising anticipation for the upcoming album.
