Police have launched a coercive investigation into a KOSDAQ-listed robotics company suspected of fabricating sales of its own robots worth hundreds of millions of won, inflating its actual revenue by approximately 3.5 billion won.
The Financial Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that it conducted a raid on the robotics firm today (the 29th) on charges including violations of the Capital Markets Act.
The company is suspected of falsely recording revenue in March of last year by making it appear as though it had sold some of its self-developed rehabilitation wearable robots to a corporation for approximately 400 million won.
Additionally, police believe that in December of the same year, the company falsely inflated overseas sales by making it appear as though its European subsidiary had sold robots for approximately 2 billion won.
Police estimate that the company reflected these fabricated sales in its 2025 financial statements, inflating its revenue for that year by about 3.5 billion won more than the actual amount.
