At around 8:10 a.m. today (29th), a collision occurred between two city buses on a road in Maesan-ri, Hwaseong-myeon, Cheongyang-gun, South Chungcheong Province.
The accident left eight people injured, including the two bus drivers and passengers, who sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, none of them are reported to be in life-threatening condition.
According to police investigations, the accident occurred when the two buses collided while attempting to make left turns at an intersection without traffic lights.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident, focusing on the possibility of a violation of the duty to drive safely, by questioning the drivers and witnesses.
