Lim Jin-hee, Amy Yang, and Chang Hyo-joon finished the first round tied for 3rd at the LPGA Tour Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
Playing at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas, Lim Jin-hee shot 6-under-par with eight birdies and two bogeys in the opening round.
Sitting two strokes behind sole leader Yuna Nishimura of Japan, who carded an 8-under-par, Lim positioned herself for another shot at victory following her team title win at the Dow Championship alongside Lee So-mi in June of last year.
This week's tournament spans 54 holes across three rounds, making early scoring crucial for a run at the championship.
Amy Yang, a six-time LPGA Tour winner, also joined the tie for 3rd with a clean performance featuring six birdies and no bogeys.
Chang Hyo-joon, who debuted on the LPGA Tour in 2023, also secured a share of 3rd place after carding six birdies without a bogey.
