▲ JYP and J.Y. Park donate for underprivileged children in Mexico
JYP Entertainment and singer J.Y. Park have donated a total of 550 million won to support vulnerable children in Mexico.
JYP announced that the total donation of 550 million won comprises 450 million won from JYP Entertainment and 100 million won from J.Y. Park, JYP's Chief Creative Officer (CCO), out of his personal funds, delivered through World Vision Mexico and World Vision Korea.
This donation was made as part of JYP's corporate social responsibility initiative, "EDM (Every Dream Matters!)".
The funds will be used to provide specialized medical support for underprivileged children suffering from illnesses in Mexico.
The plan is to connect children and adolescents diagnosed with severe illnesses to specialized hospitals, providing them with treatment, surgeries, assistive devices, and chemotherapy.
J.Y. Park shared his thoughts, saying, "I love singing and performing for my fans, but the ultimate purpose of being here is to help children. I am honored to join this effort to pool our intentions and raise awareness to help even more children."
