Two middle school girls have fallen from a commercial building in Ulsan, leaving one dead and the other seriously injured.
According to the Ulsan Bukbu Police Station and the Ulsan Fire Headquarters on September 23, the two female middle school students fell from a commercial building in Buk-gu at 8:46 PM the previous day.
One of the girls was transported to the hospital in a state of cardiac arrest and ultimately died, while the other sustained serious injuries.
Police believe that the two friends attempted to take their own lives together.
While no suicide note was found at the scene, messages related to their personal circumstances were reportedly left on their cell phones.
Police are analyzing their cell phones and nearby closed-circuit (CCTV) footage while investigating the exact circumstances with their families.
