Nation's MC Yu Jae-seok has abruptly canceled a scheduled broadcast recording on the day of the shoot due to health issues.
Yu Jae-seok was scheduled to participate in the filming of SBS variety show "Whenever Possible" Season 5 in Seoul on the 22nd, but right before the recording, due to sudden poor condition, he asked for the understanding of the on-site staff and production team and decided to cancel.
On this day, Yu Jae-seok's agency Antenna stated, "Yu Jae-seok showed temporary high fever symptoms due to a bad cold, so we inevitably had to cancel the recording," adding, "He is currently focusing on recovery."
The production team of "Whenever Possible" also shared, "Yu Jae-seok asked the staff for understanding due to a sudden drop in physical condition right before filming and canceled the shoot," and added, "We plan to reschedule the dates and proceed with the recording soon."
Known for his thorough self-management, this is the first time in 35 years since his debut at the 1st KBS College Comedy Festival in 1991 that Yu Jae-seok has canceled a recording on the day of due to health reasons. Amidst his usual smooth broadcast procedures, this sudden news has brought ongoing worry and support from the broadcasting industry and fans.
