Cindy Crawford's Family Announces Son's Death at Rehabilitation Facility: "A Difficult and Painful Time"

World-renowned supermodel Cindy Crawford's 60-year-old son, Presley Gerber, passed away on the 20th (local time) at the age of 27.

According to an exclusive report by TMZ, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner stated that Presley died at a rehabilitation facility on Sunday. An autopsy has not yet been completed, and the specific cause of death has not been disclosed.

Representatives for Cindy Crawford, her husband Rande Gerber, and their daughter Kaia Gerber confirmed the news of his death, requesting, "Please respect the family's privacy during this extremely difficult and painful time."

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, who remarried in 1998, had a son, Presley, and a daughter, Kaia. Presley worked as a model starting at the age of 15, but drew controversy after being arrested for drunk driving in January 2019, and subsequently spoke publicly about his mental health struggles. In 2024, he confessed that he had been battling a severe opioid addiction for years and had spent several days in a coma due to a fentanyl overdose.

Last month, Kaia Gerber discussed her brother's public battle with illness in an interview with Vogue, saying, "When something like that happens to someone in your family, it feels like everyone is falling apart." She added, "That's probably why I defined myself as the 'good kid' and tried not to ask for help," while praising her brother for speaking honestly about his struggles.
