▲ October 2026 apartment move-in volume by region and national move-in volume trend
The number of apartment households scheduled for move-in nationwide in October is projected to reach around 16,000, marking an increase in the 60% range compared to the previous month.
According to real estate platform Zigbang on the 21st, the nationwide apartment move-in volume for this October is expected to rise by 65% from the previous month to 16,567 households.
The figures include only apartment complexes with 30 or more households, while rental complexes are excluded.
On a monthly basis this year, this represents the fourth-highest level, following January with 24,198 households, June with 18,439 households, and March with 16,993 households.
In the Seoul metropolitan area, move-in volume increased by 14% from the previous month to 7,924 households.
By region, Seoul accounted for 3,302 households, Gyeonggi Province for 2,788 households, and Incheon for 1,834 households.
Outside the metropolitan area, move-in volume will increase to 8,643 households, which is about 2.8 times the volume of the previous month.
