A magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck 136 kilometers northwest of Lae in Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea, at around 6:17 p.m. local time on the 20th, the Korea Meteorological Administration reported, citing foreign observation agencies.
The epicenter was located at 5.90 degrees south latitude and 146.09 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 104 kilometers.
