Kim Min-sun has climbed to the top of the leaderboard as the sole leader after shooting a 5-under-par in the third round of the KLPGA Tour Hana Financial Group Championship.
Playing at The Heaven Country Club in Ansan, Kim carded a bogey-free round with five birdies to finish at 5-under-par.
With a cumulative score of 8-under-par, Kim took a one-stroke solo lead and will eye her second win of the season and third career victory in tomorrow's final round.
Jang Eun-soo, who claimed her maiden career victory at the Jeju Samdasoo Masters last month, sits in second place at 7-under-par overall, one stroke behind Kim.
Amateur national team player Yang Yoon-seo, who is set to compete in the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on the 30th, fired five under par with seven birdies and two bogeys to jump into a tie for third place at 6-under-par overall.
Yang left a strong impression with consistently aggressive play, including a 279-yard drive.
Park Min-ji, who has 20 career KLPGA wins, and Hwang Yu-min, who plays on the U.S. LPGA Tour, also joined the tied-for-third group at 6-under-par total, heralding a fierce battle for the title on the final day.
Hong Jin-young enjoyed a moment of joy by recording a hole-in-one on the par-3 13th hole, winning a car as a prize.
