Iran's top security official has delivered conditions for ending the war to the United States through mediators, Reuters reported on the 19th (local time), citing Arab media reports.
According to Reuters and other outlets, Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), stated in an interview with Al Jazeera that day that conditions to resume negotiations aimed at ending the war with the US have been conveyed to mediators.
He added that these conditions include an end to the war on all fronts, the release of frozen Iranian funds, and the lifting of the maritime blockade.
Secretary Rezaei said he is awaiting a response from US President Donald Trump and that discussions are ongoing with mediating countries such as Qatar and Pakistan.
Secretary Rezaei also stated, "Tehran wants the war between Saudi Arabia and Yemen to end."
Air raid sirens were issued in the Saudi capital of Riyadh for the first time since July, following intensified offensives against Saudi Arabia by Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels.
