The South Korean soft tennis national team has advanced to the semifinals in both the men's and women's team events at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, securing at least two bronze medals.
The men's soft tennis team defeated the Philippines 2-0 in the quarterfinals at the Higashiyama Park Tennis Center in Nagoya, Japan, today (September 18), advancing to the semifinals.
The men's team previously advanced to the quarterfinals by finishing first in their preliminary group stage.
The women's team secured a spot in the medal round by passing the preliminary group stage in second place to land a spot in the semifinals.
Soft tennis does not hold a third-place playoff, awarding bronze medals to both teams that lose in the semifinals.
The semifinals and finals for both the men's and women's team events will take place on September 20.
Both the men's and women's national teams will face Chinese Taipei in their respective semifinals.
