Targeting about 350 public institutions remaining in the capital region,
it announced plans to push forward with the "second round of public institution relocation to regional areas."
Yet backlash from employees is already intense.
Across various online communities, posts such as "I work at a public institution and am considering resigning" have appeared,
and on September 4, the Korean Financial Industry Union even held a large-scale resolution rally for a general strike to oppose the forced relocation.
