A man in his 30s has been apprehended by police after threatening middle school students with a toy knife near a middle school in Incheon.
The Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station announced today (September 17) that they are investigating a man in his 30s, designated as A, on charges of intimidation.
A is accused of threatening three middle school students by brandishing a toy rubber knife near a middle school in Nonhyeon-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon, at around 7:45 p.m. on September 14.
It was determined that A committed the act after the middle school students asked him to use earphones because he was playing music loudly at the time.
Following a report from the students, the police tracked down A using closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and accompanied him voluntarily yesterday afternoon.
A police official stated, "The charges applied to A may change following further investigation."
