Ahead of the series finale, the cast of "Flex X Cop 2"—Ahn Bohyun, Jung Eun-chae, Kang Sang Jun, and Kim Shin-bi—has revealed their personal favorite scenes.
SBS's Friday-Saturday drama "Flex X Cop 2" (written by Kim Ba-da, directed by Kim Jae-hong) is a thrilling, refreshing, and satisfying cooperative investigative drama led by flex-fueled detective Jin Yi-soo (played by Ahn Bohyun) and the new team leader Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae) of the Major Crimes Unit 1. Spanning action, thriller, and comedy, the show has received passionate love from home viewers.
With only two episodes left until the conclusion of "Flex X Cop 2," Ahn Bohyun (playing Jin Yi-soo), Jung Eun-chae (playing Joo Hye-ra), Kang Sang Jun (playing Park Jun-young), and Kim Shin-bi (playing Choi Kyung-jin) are drawing attention by sharing their absolute favorite scenes.
First, Ahn Bohyun selected the Hanoi transit arrest operation from Episode 6 as his favorite scene. Recalling the moment when his character mobilized a personal private jet to catch a fugitive fleeing abroad, Ahn Bohyun shared, "Everything from running down the runway, boarding the private jet to head to Hanoi, to using a megaphone for ad-libs remains memorable." He especially noted, "The moment I called out the suspect using a megaphone and shouted, 'Jin Yi-soo is here!' was so satisfying, and it felt meaningful as the Major Crimes Unit 1 became an even tighter 'one team' through the process of solving the case."
Kang Sang Jun chose "all the arrest scenes" where the fantastic teamwork of Major Crimes Unit 1 shone brightly. He explained, "I loved all the scenes wrapping up the investigative journeys of Major Crimes Unit 1, which crossed genres in every episode. It was a lot of fun watching the process of reaching the destination, where Jin Yi-soo's originality and boldness, Joo Hye-ra's insight and firmness, Park Jun-young's steadfastness, and Choi Kyung-jin's flexibility came together."
Kim Shin-bi picked the action scene from Episode 1, which announced the glamorous return of Major Crimes Unit 1, showing his deep affection for his character. He recalled, "This is the longest action scene the three of them worked on together before Team Leader Joo Hye-ra arrived. It stands out the most because each character's unique personality and charm were well embedded within the flashy and refreshing action."
Notably, Jung Eun-chae raised expectations by mentioning a scene from the final episode that has yet to air. Selecting her face-to-face scene with serial killer Yoo Sung-won (played by Yoo Seung-ho), Jung Eun-chae amplified curiosity by stating, "The moment when Jin Yi-soo, Joo Hye-ra, and Yoo Sung-won faced each other amidst a mix of deeply accumulated anger, hatred, and resentment over a long time, acting while exchanging energy with one another, left a strong impression."
With only two episodes left, featuring the irreplaceable chemistry of Major Crimes Unit 1 and a fierce, refreshing narrative, the final episodes 13 and 14 of "Flex X Cop 2" will air at 9:50 PM on September 18 and 19, respectively.
