Singer Lee Seung-chul has become a grandfather. This joyful milestone comes as his eldest daughter, Lee Jin, whom he embraced with his heart, gave birth to a son one year after getting married last year.
On September 16, Lee Seung-chul shared a photo of his newborn grandson on his social media account, writing, "I... became a grandfather today." He went on to express his deep affection for his grandson by adapting the lyrics of his hit song "Fate," adding, "Open your eyes and look around. Welcome, my grandson Jung Yu-han Grayson, who is seeing the world for the first time."
Last year, Lee Seung-chul appeared on the SBS variety show "My Little Old Boy" and shared the news of his eldest daughter Lee Jin's marriage. At the time, he proudly highlighted their close bond, sharing, "My eldest daughter, whom I first met when she was in her third year of middle school, went to look at wedding dresses with her dad rather than her mom, had her husband's suit fitted with me, and even picked out tableware together."
Lee Jin tied the knot on October 19 last year with an office worker conducting business management research who graduated from KAIST. At the wedding, Lee Seung-chul's music industry juniors Lee Mu-jin, Muzie, and the band Jannabi took the stage to perform congratulatory songs. As the father of the bride, Lee Seung-chul also stepped onto the stage directly with a band and passionately sang a total of five songs to celebrate his daughter's marriage.
Meanwhile, Lee Seung-chul, who marks his 40th debut anniversary this year, is currently holding his nationwide tour concert "THE VOICE : LEE SEUNG CHUL," which encompasses his entire 40-year musical career.
