Now, following the pizza incident, a passenger has been caught trying to shove a potted plant into the doors.
A photo was posted online with the caption, "Older passengers, please do not do this while riding the subway."
The photo shows a woman pushing a shopping bag containing a potted plant through the subway doors.
The uploader stated that this was witnessed on Seoul Subway Line 7, writing, "The subway is being delayed because someone is trying to forcibly open the doors. Please take the next train."
Much like the pizza incident mentioned earlier, there has been a succession of recent cases where people block train departures by sticking their bodies or objects between the doors.
According to Seoul Metro, door-jamming incidents accounted for more than 30 percent of all subway accidents over the past five years.
Rather than risking losing your potted plant or pizza, if you are running late, please just catch the next train.
