As U.S. military bases in the Middle East suffer a continuous string of damage from the war with Iran, internal photos revealing the actual conditions have been released. Trapped in a quagmire of astronomical war costs, mounting losses, and an inability to withdraw, an impeachment motion has even been introduced against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

These are photos released by U.S. CBS News on the 15th local time, obtained from active-duty soldiers in the Middle East.
The rear section of the fuselage bearing the words "U.S. Air Force" has completely collapsed and is charred black, while the rotating radar dome has fallen to the ground.
This shows a U.S. Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, which was destroyed in an attack by an Iranian Shahed suicide drone on March 27.
At the time, Iran engaged in a public relations campaign, boasting that it used a 30 million won Shahed drone to destroy U.S. surveillance assets worth approximately 450 billion won.
Another photo shows Camp Buehring in Kuwait, where tent roofs of base facilities were burned and various military vehicles were left heavily damaged and abandoned.
A U.S. service member told CBS, "The reality of the severe damage to U.S. bases has not been properly communicated to the American public," adding, "We are standing with our eyes closed and taking punches to the face."
The U.S. Department of Defense reported to Congress that the scale of damage to Middle East bases since the war through the end of June exceeded 5 trillion won, including 60 military aircraft.
In the U.S. House of Representatives, even some Republican lawmakers joined in to pass a third resolution to halt the war, and an impeachment motion against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was introduced.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) also released an analysis showing that the U.S. has spent 52 trillion won on the war with Iran and will need an additional 4조 won every month going forward if things continue this way.
President Trump took to social media to issue another warning, stating that countries that did not help the U.S. must pay reparations after the war ends.
