SBS audition project "The Ballad of Us," which sparked a ballad craze in South Korea, has teased another season filled with moving performances.
Premiering on Monday, October 5 at 10 PM, SBS "The Ballad of Us 2" will feature the addition of new Top-Ear judges including Moon Geun-young, Joo Woo-jae, and Roy Kim, alongside younger contestants with an average age of 17.9.
Released on the 16th, the third teaser video drew attention with the unique and impressive backgrounds of contestants gathered from all across the country. From a soldier in uniform and a talented contestant who has already formed a fan club, to someone who postponed their admission to Berklee and even a contestant who captivated the King of the United Kingdom, the lineup left host Jun Hyun-moo and the judging panel in shock.
Along with these striking backgrounds, the contestants delivered deeply emotional performances. Jung Jae-hyung expressed his awe, saying, "It was beyond shocking and even a bit chilling," while Jung Seung-hwan burst out in admiration, saying, "I even thought, 'Can you really sing like this?'"
Moved by a deep emotional resonance that defied their young ages, the Top-Ear judges shed tears repeatedly and gave standing ovations, raising anticipation to its peak.
Featuring even more powerful stages delivered by ballad hopefuls, "The Ballad of Us 2" will premiere on Monday, October 5 at 10 PM.
