A video showing two foreign women engaging in a physical fight at a large shopping mall in Seoul is spreading online. What happened?
The video in question was filmed at a shopping mall near Hongik University Station.
It captures an Asian woman and a Western woman grabbing each other's clothes and fighting.
The Western woman was pushed down and knocked over, and even tried to leave the scene with a child in a stroller, but she could not easily get away as the other woman grabbed the hem of her clothes.
In the end, the physical fight only stopped after mall security guards intervened.
Online, claims emerged from someone who said they witnessed the scene, alleging that one of the women was Chinese and that the fight started because she was enraged by derogatory remarks made against Chinese people by the other party.
However, the actual remarks made and the exact circumstances under which the fight started have not been confirmed.
