The upcoming semifinals of the special "Handball Cup" jointly planned by SBS "Kick a Goal", the Korea Handball Federation, and SK Hynix ahead of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games will be revealed.
In the Wednesday, September 16 episode of SBS "Kick a Goal", Giants and Top Girl Movement will face off in the semifinals for a ticket to the handball cup finals.
The key point of interest in this match is undoubtedly the tactical battle between senior and junior figures in the handball world, Giants manager Bae Min-hee and Top Girl Movement manager Park Ha-yan.
At the opening, manager Bae Min-hee delivered a sharp provocation to manager Park Ha-yan, who is five years her junior, asking, "Do you even know handball?", and manager Park Ha-yan responded in kind, maintaining a tense standoff.
The strategic battle between the two leaders is also fierce. Manager Bae Min-hee plans to overwhelm her opponent with a "twin pivot" card that maximizes physicality, while manager Park Ha-yan has countered with a "pivot eraser" strategy utilizing speed to thoroughly shut down the opponent's pivot.
The individual title race between the aces is also heating up. Giants Jung Eui-young and Top Girl Movement Kang Bo-ram, who are competing for the scoring title by a mere one-goal margin, will step out to hunt for goals with their pride on the line. In addition, Chaeryina, also known as "Chaejinya" guarding the goal for Top Girl, will be joined by Heo Kyung-hee, the all-around player known as "Hulk" from Giants, who is set to make a surprise appearance on the court to add to the excitement.
The inevitable semifinal big match between the two teams, with a spot in the finals and the scoring title at stake, will be revealed on "Kick a Goal" airing on Wednesday night at 9 PM on September 16.
