DAY6 member Young K is set to claim the title of an idol big eater by revealing his extraordinary appetite.
On the SBS variety show "Whenever Possible", airing at 10:05 PM on Tuesday the 15th, MCs Yu Jae-seok and Yoo Yeonseok, along with guests Yoo Seung-ho and Young K, will visit the nooks and crannies of Cheongdam-dong to deliver good fortune.
During a recent recording, Young K gave off an unusual presence from the very beginning by rattling off a list of popular restaurants from his JYP trainee days. He then surprised everyone on set by confessing, "I once ate eight bowls of rice at an all-you-can-eat restaurant and got scolded by the owner. If I go to a restaurant, it's possible for me to rack up 1 million won worth of food all by myself."
Young K proved his extraordinary class by sharing, "Just three days ago, I put four packs of instant noodles in budae-jjigae and ate them." Upon hearing this, actor Yoo Seung-ho, who usually considers himself a big eater, immediately yielded by saying, "I thought I ate a lot, but compared to Young K, I'm a light eater," causing an outburst of laughter.
When asked about the secret to maintaining his slim figure despite being a big eater, Young K revealed, "Normally, I barely eat to manage my weight, and I eat intensely whenever I can." However, it was reported that when the dessert prepared by the gap host appeared on this day, he forgot his management routine and kept his fork going until the very end, showing off a storm of mukbang.
The delightful mukbang activities of Young K, a representative big eater in the idol world, can be seen on "Whenever Possible", airing at 10:05 PM on the 15th due to the broadcast of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games men's soccer match.
