US Ambassador to South Korea Michelle Steel announced that she met with Kim Jin-a, the 2nd Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Ambassador Steel posted on her X account today, saying, "Had a great meeting with 2nd Vice Foreign Minister Kim Jin-a of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss the implementation of the agreement between our presidents contained in the joint fact sheet."
Since arriving in South Korea in July, Ambassador Steel has been broadening her engagements with security and trade officials through successive meetings with key figures from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs—including Minister Cho Hyun, 1st Vice Minister Park Yoon-joo, and Head of the Diplomatic Strategy and Intelligence Office Jung Yeon-doo, alongside 2nd Vice Minister Kim Jin-a—as well as Minister of Trade Industry and Energy Kim Jeong-gwan and Minister of National Defense Ahn Gyu-back.
