A man who unlawfully entered and hid inside the home of a female internet broadcaster was caught after a "PC login" notification gave him away, leading to his arrest by police.
The Seoul Dongdaemun Police Station booked a man in his 30s, identified as A, on charges including trespassing and violating the Stalking Punishment Act at around 12:00 PM on the 11th.
A is suspected of entering the residence of female internet broadcaster B without authorization by punching in the door lock password at around 12:00 PM on the 11th.
B, who was out at the time, reportedly grew suspicious when a sudden login notification popped up for the computer in her empty house and reported it to the police.
Responding to the call, police searched B's home, found A hiding on the terrace, and apprehended him at the scene.
A is reported to have come to know B through internet broadcasting.
Police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident, including A's motive for trespassing.
