The cast members congratulated Ji Ye-eun on her upcoming marriage.
On the SBS program "Running Man" broadcast on September 13, the members gathered to celebrate Ji Ye-eun.
During the episode, the members congratulated Ji Ye-eun, who is set to become the first married member of "Running Man." Yu Jae-seok opened the conversation by saying, "Actually, when you casually mentioned it last week, everyone thought you were joking."
Earlier, during a shoot at a wedding hall, Yu Jae-seok had asked, "Shouldn't Ye-eun be practicing?" to which Ji Ye-eun replied, "Oh, really? Should I actually do it?" Ji Ye-eun recalled, "At that time, Yang Sechan said, 'Hey, I really believe Ji-hyo.' So I figured they thought it was just a joke," drawing attention.
Ji Ye-eun also jokingly apologized to Song Jihyo, saying, "According to the traditional order of seniority, I'm sorry for getting married first," which brought laughter to the set.
Ji Ye-eun, who announced her relationship with Bada last April, faced questions from Kim Jong-kook, who asked, "So you made your decision and announced the marriage?" Ji Ye-eun responded, "That's right. People around us say it's too early and ask if it's a premarital pregnancy. But what's unfair is that I don't have a child."
Ji Ye-eun continued to clarify the rumors, stating, "It's not a premarital pregnancy, and we don't have plans for children yet. We plan to enjoy our newlyweds' life first before having a second generation."
Regarding her decision to marry Bada, Ji Ye-eun shared, "He is such a warm person and speaks kindly even when we argue. He was also a tremendous source of strength when I was sick."
When HAHA asked if being a source of strength during sickness was the deciding factor, Ji Ye-eun replied, "Yes, I think having someone by your side to reliably support you when you are sick is the best."
Ji Ye-eun also revealed that Bada graduated from Hongik University's College of Engineering, prompting HAHA to add, "He must only read books." To this, Ji Ye-eun playfully quipped, "So, intellectually, we actually don't match well."
She also mentioned that Bada's family loves her very much, saying, "They love me so, so much. They watch 'Running Man' all the time." She added, "The reason I couldn't attend Kim Jong-kook sunbaenim's concert was because I went down to Chungju to see his mother," drawing interest.
At that point, Yang Sechan asked if she had received a proposal. Blushing shyly, Ji Ye-eun answered, "Yes, I did. Talking about this is so embarrassing."
Recalling the moment with a happy smile, Ji Ye-eun said, "It was a really exhausting day. When I opened the door and walked in, there was a path made of balloons and candles. I honestly thought they hired an event company," adding, "He read a letter and then gave me a ring."
Ji Ye-eun continued, "It's the one women want to receive—Tiffany," and added, "I didn't have much desire for that kind of thing, but as soon as I saw the mint-colored box, I was surprised. It was my first time seeing that mint color." She added with a laugh, "After a hug, I cried and then helped clean up the balloons."
When Ji Ye-eun asked for recommendations for a honeymoon destination, Kim Jong-kook suggested the South of France. The members then asked, "How much time off are you going to take from your schedule?" In response, Ji Ye-eun asked the production team, "Are you going to give me time off?"
HA HA chimed in, saying they would clear her schedule because "we can just go with you." Ji Ye-eun playfully replied, "It would be nice to go together." When HAHA said, "In that case, we can take two weeks off," Ji Ye-eun coolly responded, "Oh, then come along."
Predicting the future, Yu Jae-seok made everyone laugh by saying, "Let me tell you clearly, by the second day, Ye-eun will be crying all by herself."
