Gen.G has once again reached the summit of the LCK, determining the top powerhouse in League of Legends within South Korea.
Defending champion Gen.G secured a comeback victory with a set score of 3-1 against Hanwha Life Esports in the finals.
Gen.G struggled against Hanwha Life's early onslaught and conceded the first set.
However, led by the performances of captain "Ruler" Park Jae-hyuk and Asian Games national team member "Canyon" Kim Geon-bu, they swept the next three sets to claim the championship.
With this victory, Gen.G lifted their second consecutive and seventh overall championship trophy, and they will now challenge for the world title at the World Championship (Worlds) to be held in the United States next month.
