70-in-Their-70s Man Hospitalized Following Knife Attack in Seoul's Dongdaemun District

Police have launched an investigation following a knife attack in Seoul's Dongdaemun District.

At around 8:20 p.m. today (September 13), a report was received that a man in his 70s, identified as A, had been injured with a weapon on a road in Jeonnong-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.

Man A reportedly sustained severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.

Police have apprehended a man in his 80s, identified as the suspect who wielded the weapon, at the scene on charges including attempted murder, and are currently investigating the exact motive behind the crime.
