A drunk driving incident in front of a club in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, has left four pedestrians injured.
According to the police, the Gangnam Police Station has apprehended and is currently investigating a woman in her 30s, designated as A, on charges of dangerous driving resulting in injury under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment, etc. of Specific Crimes and drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.
A is accused of driving an SUV while intoxicated at around 11:00 PM yesterday (Saturday, September 12) on a road in front of a club in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where the vehicle hit a curb before striking pedestrians.
The accident injured four pedestrians, including a man in his 20s who sustained serious injuries, and they were transported to a hospital.
At the time of the accident, A's blood alcohol concentration was at a level warranting the suspension of a driver's license.
Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident involving A.
