The men's national basketball team, aiming to reclaim the championship after 12 years, has secured its spot in the quarterfinals with its second consecutive win at the Nagoya Asian Games. Led by ace Lee Hyun-jung, the team achieved a massive 54-point victory over Indonesia.

Although Yeo Jun-seok was sidelined due to a foot injury sustained in the opening match against Saudi Arabia, Lee Hyun-jung showcased his prowess as the team's ace by dominating both inside and outside the arc.
After tuning his shooting touch by scoring 5 points in each of the first and second quarters, Lee unleashed an explosive scoring spree at the start of the third quarter.
He fought through a foul to sink a three-pointer and continued to fire away from long range without hesitation.
Following an offensive rebound with a basket underneath and converting a left-handed layup, he poured in 14 points all by himself during the first five minutes of the third quarter.
With the lead quickly widening to over 20 points, the national team cruised to a 102:48 landslide victory by a 54-point margin while giving all players equal time on the court.
Lee finished with 24 points, including four three-pointers, while Yu Gi-sang sank seven three-pointers alone. The team boasted a scorching 53.6% success rate with 15 three-pointers overall, demonstrating their increasingly hot scoring form.
