The 3x3 men's basketball national team, gearing up for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, will first participate in the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) 3x3 Under-23 (U-23) World Cup.
According to the Korea Basketball Association today (September 11), the national 3x3 men's basketball team will compete in the 2026 FIBA 3x3 U-23 World Cup, which opens on September 15 in Wuhan, China.
The national team secured their ticket to the U-23 World Cup by finishing first overall in the Central and East Asia leg of the FIBA 3x3 U18/U23 Nations League held in Changzhou, China, in August.
Placed in Group D alongside the United States, Lithuania, Argentina, and China for the U-23 World Cup group stage, South Korea will face Lithuania and the United States on September 16, followed by matches against Argentina and China on September 18.
This tournament serves as the final international competition before the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, providing the national team with an opportunity to test their tactics and teamwork.
The Asian Games 3x3 men's basketball tournament, featuring U-23 players, will take place from September 21 to 25 at a special court near Kinjofuto Station in Nagoya, Japan.
