The Seoul Metropolitan Government has announced the G3 Seoul Plan, which involves investing 86 trillion won by 2030 to implement 100 major tasks across housing, health, transportation, and more. Through this, the city aims to leap into one of the world's top three cities.

Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon announced that the G3 Seoul Plan, the top-tier strategy for the 9th popular-election term, has been finalized and will now be put into action.
Under five future visions—Health and Safety City, Accompanied Growth City, Housing Stability City, Opportunity and Vitality City, and Spatial Innovation City—the city plans to pursue 20 strategic goals and 100 core tasks.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government stated that through the G3 Seoul Plan, it will respond to the AI transition, the climate crisis, demographic shifts, and talent competition, with plans to invest a total of 86.1 trillion won by 2030.
Key tasks include the introduction of "10-minute fitness zones" providing spaces for citizens to exercise within 10 minutes of their homes, a "Green Area Total Management System" to expand living-zone green spaces, and the offline expansion of "Seoul Learn," an online-focused learning program.
In the housing sector, the city decided to newly supply 6,500 units of the Seoul-style public for-sale housing "Baro Naejip" and additionally supply 130,000 public housing units through the expansion of the Rapid Unified Planning and Moa Housing projects.
Additionally, the city plans to create "Youth Future Towns" by region, combining housing, jobs, and communities in one place.
In preparation for the era of 30 million foreign tourists, the city will also create an integrated app called "ok seoul" connecting simple payments, public transportation, tax refunds, and tourist information, while establishing policies such as the Youth AI Ladder policy supporting AI usage and policies to attract foreign master's and doctoral degree holders.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government plans to finalize an implementation plan containing goals, schedules, financial resources, and performance indicators for each of the 100 tasks by the end of the year, and to manage the progress.
