Singer Hwa Sa is set to perform on the main stage of "Rock in Rio," one of the world's largest music festivals, marking a first for a K-pop female solo artist.

Hwa Sa will perform on the main stage, Palco Mundo (World Stage), at "Rock in Rio 2026," held on the 11th (local time) at the Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

"Rock in Rio" is one of the world's largest music festivals, having started in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1985 and expanded its stages to locations including Lisbon, Madrid, and Las Vegas. Iconic acts such as Queen, Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi, and Beyoncé have graced its stages.

Palco Mundo, where Hwa Sa will perform, is the main stage featuring "Rock in Rio's" headliners. This year, artists such as Elton John, Maroon 5, and Stray Kids are joining the lineup alongside her. Hwa Sa becomes the first K-pop female solo artist to take on this stage.

During the performance, Hwa Sa is set to showcase her signature hits including "twit," "Maria," and "Good Goodbye," which was released in October of last year.
