The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) has issued an influenza advisory.
The KDCA announced that the advisory takes effect at 12:00 a.m. today (the 11th), citing that the number of suspected influenza patients is higher compared to the same period last year and has also exceeded the epidemic threshold for this year.
With the national influenza vaccination program scheduled to begin on the 21st, the KDCA is also considering adjusting the vaccination schedule for high-risk groups, such as children, pregnant women, and adults aged 65 and older.
