Figure skating queen Kim Yuna has promptly refuted recent pregnancy rumors, putting a swift end to the speculation.
After Kim attended a beauty brand pop-up store event held at Lotte Department Store's Jamsil branch in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 7th, some netizens began raising speculative reactions, saying, "Her physique looks a bit different than usual" and "Could she be pregnant?"
In response, an official from her agency clearly stated, "The pregnancy rumors are completely untrue," explaining, "It is simply a matter of looking a bit heavier depending on the design and material of the outfit she wore." They also emphasized, "There were similar rumors in the past, but they were not true then, and they are not true now."
This is not the first time pregnancy rumors have surrounded Kim Yuna. Back in July 2022, when her marriage to Ko Woo-rim was announced, some individuals raised suspicions, asking if they were getting married in a rush due to a premarital pregnancy. At the time, her agency expressed displeasure, stating that it was "nonsense and completely groundless."
Kim Yuna married popera singer Ko Woo-rim of Forestella, who is five years her junior and whom she met during an ice show congratulatory performance in 2018, in October 2022 after a three-year relationship. Her husband Ko enlisted in November 2023, faithfully fulfilled his military service in the Ministry of National Defense Military Band, and was discharged upon completion in May 2025, continuing their peaceful newlyweds' life.
