China Sends Fourth Batch of Emergency Relief Supplies, Including Body Management Equipment, to Nepal

China announced that it has sent its fourth batch of emergency relief supplies to support rescue and recovery efforts for residents affected by the major floods in Nepal.

During a regular briefing on the 8th, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning stated, "To support Nepal's disaster relief operations, China's fourth batch of emergency relief supplies departed this morning (the 8th)," adding that the supplies include rescue and transportation equipment, lighting, and body management equipment.

Private-level support is also continuing.

According to Spokesperson Mao, the China Foundation for Rural Development is setting up temporary shelters in disaster-stricken areas of Nepal while providing daily necessities and basic medical services to displaced residents.

The Nepal Chinese Enterprises Association, an organization of Chinese businesses operating in Nepal, recently delivered its first batch of disaster relief donations to the Nepali side.

Spokesperson Mao said, "In the face of major disasters and difficulties, China will continue to stand with Nepal, helping one another and overcoming hard times together."

Previously, China sent drones, DNA testing equipment and reagents, water purification and lighting equipment to Nepal, and dispatched DNA identification experts to the field.
