Police have entered the Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, where protests have been ongoing blocking the vote-counting station for the June 3 local elections. At 9:00 a.m. today (September 8), police dismantled tent facilities and relief supplies set up in front of Gates 2 and 3 of the gymnasium and opened the doors. Although some protesters protested, shouting, "The Election Commission, stay out of this," police entered the gymnasium around 9:12 a.m. without any major physical clashes.
