When the stationery brand's headquarters checked into the matter, they found that the ping-pong paddles in question were not even products supplied by the headquarters.
It was also revealed that the consumer price is around 25,000 won per paddle.
As complaints and civil petitions continued to pour into other franchise stores due to this controversy, the headquarters decided to proceed with terminating the franchise agreement with the store in question.
