"My Father's Car Is Stuck in the Mudflat"... 70-Man Found Dead

A man in his 70s who went fishing on a mudflat in Gochang, Jeollabuk-do, has been found dead.

At around 2:10 a.m. today (September 6), a report was received near the pier of Dongho Port in Gochang-gun, Jeollabuk-do, stating, "My father's car is stuck in the mudflat."

Mr. A, a man in his 70s, was rescued from the vehicle, but ultimately passed away.

It was reported that Mr. A had visited the area with his son to go fishing when the accident occurred.

The Coast Guard and fire authorities, who hoisted the vehicle using a crane, are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
